J. Bolton Walters
Mr. Walters is a Co-Founder and Manager of Bank Advisory Group Securities, LLC, which manages private funds primarily for U.S. community bank holding companies and their owners, senior bank officers, subsidiary bank trust departments (and their clients), and bank employee retirement plans, including 401(K) plans, ESOPs and KSOPs. Mr. Walters is also a Co-Founder and Principal of Capital Park Group, LLC, which serves as a trusted adviser and partner to a wide array of U.S. and foreign entities and persons including companies (ranging from industry leaders to upstarts), banks, private equity and hedge funds, governments, sovereign entities and high net-worth families and individuals; as well as serves as an investment manager for Greenhouse Fund LLC (an early stage venture capital fund investing in technology and technology-related start-ups).
Previously, Mr. Walters served as an appointee and Senior Advisor for Commercial and Business Affairs at the U.S. State Department. In this role he was responsible for commercial advocacy on behalf of hundreds of U.S. companies operating abroad, resulting in billions of dollars of successful financial and commercial transactions. He also advised senior business executives, and U.S. and foreign government officials, on a wide-range of issues including facilitating equity, debt and project financing, exports and imports, negotiations and disputes, public tenders, green- and brownfield projects, competitive and geo-political intelligence, navigating U.S. and foreign legal, regulatory, and political frameworks, small business creation, and attracting foreign direct investment.
Mr. Walters also served as a member of the U.S. team responsible for hosting the 2004 G8 Summit; an annual forum for the heads of state of the most industrialized nations, and invited world leaders. Mr. Walters also accepted an appointment working for a Commissioner at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC); the federal agency responsible for overseeing U.S. financial futures, derivatives and option markets. Prior to the CFTC, Mr. Walters worked in the congressional office for a U.S. Congressman.
Mr. Walters began his career practicing law in Austin, Texas, advising clients on a range of matters including business and real estate transactions. He also served as Executive Director and General Counsel for two state-wide associations for technology and e-commerce companies.
Mr. Walters is a member of the State Bar of Texas, a cum laude business graduate of Texas A&M University, and earned Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A) degrees from Baylor University.
Nathan began his career in technology as employee number 19 at Rackspace Managed Hosting, rising from self taught webmaster to Project Manager. He took his technology skills into the business world, founding Litigation Dynamics, a litigation support company that anticipated the growing need for technology support in the legal profession. After his exit, Nathan attended law school where he helped direct implementation of the St. Mary’s University School of Law Mock Courtroom, and began his studies with an eye toward intellectual property practice. As a former programmer and active entrepreneur, Nathan brings a wealth of experience to the fund that differentiates him from peers in the industry.
Nathan Roach received his B.A. from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.
R.C. Rondero de Mosier
Prior to entering the legal profession, R.C. graduated from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California where he majored in Communications. He took the knowledge he gained at school to enter into the booming start-up sector, where he helped develop a fledgling sports memorabilia company into a cross promotional events and sports marketing business. He later went on to recruit and develop sales managers across the United States for one of the largest business to business sales companies in the world. R.C.‘s knowledge of the value of branding and marketing, along with his sales background, give him the needed experience to identify companies with high growth potential.
R.C. received his B.A. from Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA and his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.
